Homegrown Philodendron Holtonianum

Endemic to eastern Ecuador, this species is a climber. Narrow young leaves widen and develop lobes with maturity. Leaf size can grow up to 3' in length.

Cultivated at home by a single grower, we use eco-friendly methods like beneficial insects, mycorrhizal inoculation, and different strains of bacteria to keep our entire collection flourishing. 

These photos reflect many plants in a single propagation pot. Each purchase is for a single, lightly rooted, young, bare root plant with 1 to 3 leaves, at about 9" in length. All of these plants have been acclimated to household conditions (70F, 30%). Grower's choice only. 

Care Tips:

• Thrives in bright, indirect light.
• Keep in well-draining soil, and allow to dry between waterings. 
• Prefers warm (70F +), humid (60% +) environments, but can be easily acclimated to household conditions.
• Use of a vertical support, like a moss pole, will help this species climb and dramatically increase leaf size.
